Why use Connect4 with IPM?

Connect4 enables the best possible client meetings. IPM enables best in class workflows to deliver your clients desired outcomes. We are now bringing these two tools closer together to create a more seamless workflow.

Getting started takes no time at all.

Firstly authenticate IPM in Connect4.

Note: You must be the Connect4 account owner to setup the IPM integration.

The IPM access key can be found within your IPM account under Settings.

If you select the 'Manage' or 'Connect' button- you will be provided with an API key you can copy.

Add that copied key to Connect4 under 'Integrations' which is shown when you click on your avatar in the top right.

Turn the IPM integration on by flicking the switch and pasting the Access Key you copied from IPM.

If a colleague is a team member in your Connect4 organisation and has a seat in IPM they too can easily be connected.

Once you are setup:

Using the IPM integration to speed-up getting meetings setup and actions into internal workflows.

Whether an ad-hoc meeting with a client they have requested or as part of your proactive approach to having monthly or quarterly business reviews with clients make sure you utilise a Connect4 pod.

When setting up a meeting with a client for the first time on Connect4 you or your team member will need to create a pod that will become the home for all meetings with that specific client.

Creating a new client using IPM contacts

Simply Add a new client or create a meeting in the usual way. When adding client emails to a new pod- typing the first letters of the email address will surface any contact that is included within your IPM contact cards.

Assigning actions within a Connect4 pod to feed into IPM

Any actions assigned to team members in a pod will automatically be added to your IPM assignments (formerly known as todo's) and triage. If you have work items setup for that client you can also select which work item to assign the action to within Connect4.

There are three potential outcomes when creating an action item either during a meeting or in the pod outside of a meeting:

  1. Assigning an action to yourself or a team member who has a IPM seat.

A IPM icon will appear once sent to IPM assignments and this will show at the bottom of your assignments page to be prioritised into your preferred workflow.

Note: this is currently a one way synchronisation meaning once the assignment is cleared within IPM - it will still need to be marked completed within Connect4 when preparing for you next meeting. This workflow works well when and the beginning of the next meeting you tick off the previously agreed action items.

2. Assign an action to yourself or a team member who does not have a IPM seat.

This will not feed into IPM and you will get a red notifier.

3. Assign a client an action.

This will not go into IPM directly currently.

IPM organisation tags

Connect4 will also pull in your IPM organisations and organisations tags.

An IPM logo in Connect4 will identify whether a client organisation is synchronised as well as whether a tag is from IPM.

Reminder on Meeting notes and Triage

Meeting notes and actions can (and should!) be sent out in the post meeting email summary within Connect4- this is a handy way of getting meeting notes into Triage in Connect4 and can also be assigned to work that way.

Please do get in touch with either your Intuit or Connect4 account manager or support with any further requests.
