How do I use actions?

Turn meetings into actions. Connect4 allows you to assign pod attendees actions during or after meetings to keep moving forward together.

Meetings bring people together to discuss and set next steps. Connect4 helps to turn those agreed next steps into Actions. Learn how to use this tool for your meetings here.

What are Actions?

Actions are tasks assigned to Pod attendees. They can be created and assigned before, during and after meetings in each Pod.

Who can be assigned Actions?

All attendees of the Pod can be assigned actions - even if they weren't in the meeting! This helps keep everyone in the loop regardless of attendance.

How do I use Actions?

There are 2 key ways to create Actions:

  • During a Meeting

  • In the Pod (before or after a meeting)

During a Meeting

During a meeting, you can create action items and assign to any Pod member by navigating to the Actions tab.

Step 1. Navigate to Meeting's Actions Tab

While in the meeting, find the Actions tab in the Meeting (see arrow below).

Step 2. Create Action

On the meeting's Action tab, you'll see all outstanding tasks including their details & assigned attendees. To create a new action, simply click on "Create New Action" to get started.

Step 3. Assign Action

Add the details and assign to the appropriate Pod attendee. Click "Assign Action" to save into the Pod.

In a Pod (before or after meeting)

Step 1. Navigate to Pod's Actions Tab

While in the meeting, find the Actions tab in the Pod (see arrow below).

Step 2. Create Action

Just like in a meeting, you'll see all outstanding tasks including their details & assigned attendees. Also, you'll be able to see completed tasks.

To create a new action, simply click on "Create New Action" to get started.

Step 3. Assign Action

Add the details and assign to the appropriate Pod attendee. Click "Assign Action" to save into the Pod.

How do I Complete an Action?

Attendees will see the new action on the Actions Tab in the meeting or in the Pod after the meeting. They'll be able to simply check the box next to their assigned Actions.

Note: Don't worry, only the Assignee may check off the box for their Actions!

All completed actions are visible in the Pod's Actions tab.
